Cedteria’s Door Décor is customized décor company that specializes in door décor and more for “every season and every reason.” The vision of Cedteria’s Door Décor is to provide customers with beautiful, customized artwork who to love decorate.  Ms. Cedteria’s artwork includes everything from painted wood signs, door wreaths, door hangers, stove top covers, holiday ornaments, and more—anything that will add beauty to your home or office. She personally handcrafts each item just for you.

 

The idea for Ms. Cedteria’s business started on March 27, 2018, although at the time she didn’t realize it.  She had been driving around Monticello and saw all of these beautiful Welcome signs on people’s front porches, so she decided to try to make one herself.  Once she did she posted a picture of it on Facebook.  All the compliments and requests for her to make similar items for her friends, and their subsequent joy in receiving her artwork, inspired her to start her door décor business. 

 

When I asked Ms. Thompson what advice she would give to future entrepreneurs she said, “Resiliency and perseverance are vital in achieving goals.  Build on and correct your failures and the success will follow.
